He has sired an amazing 12 stakes winners from his first crop- more than Danehill, Redoute's Choice, Zabeel, Flying Spur, Encosta de Lago or Volksraad.

During the 2009 Sales Series, Pins had 28 yearlings sold for $100,000 or more in the sale ring.

Pins was a winner and runner up in his only 2YO starts. At three, he won on six occasions from 1200m to 2000m; including the Group One VRC Cadbury Guineas, MVRC Alister Clark Stakes, and VATC AAMI Classic.

Pins retired as sire Snippets’ most successful racing son and his highest earning stakes winner. Snippets was Champion Australian 2YO and 3YO, and is a highly influential sire. Pins’ dam, No Finer, has produced four stakes winners. His second dam Humour, had 12 winners – four at Group level, and was twice named Australian Broodmare of the Year.
