$A200,000 For Fast 'N' Famous Colt (April

The Fast 'N' Famous colt from Centaine mare O'Really
sold for $A200,000 on the opening day of the Sydney
Easter Sale. Bred and sold by WS, the half-brother to
the Listed Lightning Handicap winner Keano (Pins) was
knocked down to leading bloodstock agent Steve Brem
for $A200,000.
The two colts WS has to offer by Fast 'N' Famous -
the other being Lot 298, a half brother to unbeaten
three-year-old Best Reilly (O'Reilly), have been extremely
popular since parades began early last week.
Top Melbourne trainer Danny O'Brien has long been an
admirer of the champion sire O'Reilly and he went to
$A150,000 to snap up his son from 2007 NZ Broodmare
Of The Year River Century. The colt is a brother to
the Gr 1 WATC Derby winner Guyno and a half-brother
to the Gr 1 New Zealand Oaks and Kelt Capital Stakes
winner Legs.
Following the sale, O'Brien commented that he thought
he was the best buy of the sale.
